2011 Big Sky Honorable Mention<br />
Anthony returns for his junior season with the Wildcats. He will be one of the team<br />
captains for the second-straight season and has established himself as one of the top<br />
linebackers in the Big Sky. In two seasons with the Wildcats he has appeared in 21 career games and has 134 career tackles<br />
and 11 tackles for loss.<br />
2011 (Sophomore)<br />
Started in all 11 games for the Wildcats during the season...Earned Honorable Mention Big Sky All-Conference honors at<br />
linebacker...Finished third in the Big Sky in tackles at 10.5 per game...Recorded 115 total tackles during the season with 79<br />
assisted and 36 unassisted...Recorded double digits in tackles in eight of 11 games...Had a career-high 14 tackles in WSU’s<br />
Homecoming win over Idaho <strong>State</strong> Oct. 15...Was ninth in the conference in tackles for loss with 10 for an average of 0.91<br />
per game...Had 2.5 in the win over Idaho <strong>State</strong>...Also recorded two sacks, one at Utah <strong>State</strong> and one against Montana <strong>State</strong><br />
and had one forced fumble and two quarterback hurries...Recorded his fi rst career interception in the season-ending win at<br />
Portland <strong>State</strong> and returned that interception 25 yards.<br />
2010 (Freshman)<br />
Played ten games as a red-shirt freshman for the Wildcats and started one game...Recorded 19 total tackles on the year<br />
with 10 unassisted and nine assisted...Had a season-high eight tackles at Sacramento <strong>State</strong>, including one tackle for loss.<br />
2009<br />
Sat out the season as a red-shirt after signing with the Wildcats in February 2009.<br />
Edmond Memorial High School<br />
Played for Coach Mark Walker at Edmond Memorial...Was the<br />
two-time team Defensive Player of the Year...Two-time All-<strong>State</strong><br />
and All-Big City...Was the 2008 District Player of the Year...<br />
Named as one of the state’s “Top 50” players by Rivals.com...<br />
Three-year starter, and team captain his senior year...Was a<br />
highly skilled high school wrestler and was the 2008-09 state<br />
165-pound wrestling champion...Was high school teammates<br />
with current Wildcat teammate David James.<br />
Personal<br />
Full name is Anthony David Morales...Was born Aug. 27, 1990...<br />
Loves snowboarding and plans to get better while living in Utah.<br />
