FUTURE SECRETARIES ASSOCIATION<br />
The objectives of the FSA are to stimulate<br />
interest in the secretarial profession,<br />
develop a better understanding of secretarial<br />
responsibilities, and provide the basics<br />
necessary for the preparation of future<br />
professional secretaries.<br />
To be eligible for membership, a<br />
student should be enrolled in the secretarial<br />
course of study and must maintain a 2.00<br />
average.<br />
The FSA is sponsored by the Profile<br />
Chapter of the National Secretaries Association<br />
(International).<br />
BOWLING LEAGUE<br />
Candlepin bowling is offered during the week<br />
through the school year. Participants<br />
compete for both team and individual<br />
trophies.<br />
SHOOTING DEVELOPMENT CLUB<br />
The Shooting Development Club was formed<br />
to educate students in the use of firearms,<br />
but it has expanded to include other<br />
interests such as archery and fishing.<br />
Membership is open to all students, shooters<br />
and non-shooters alike.<br />
CHESS CLUB<br />
Although the Chess Club is small numerically,<br />
it provides activity and offers relaxing<br />
competition for its members here on<br />
campus. The club sends representatives to<br />
various intercollegiate tournaments.<br />
SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE<br />
This group plans and facilitates the fall,<br />
winter, and spring weekend concerts and<br />
festivals. Membership is open to all.<br />
MARKETING CLUB<br />
The New Hampshire College Collegiate<br />
Chapter is an affiliate of the American<br />
Marketing Association. One of its many<br />
purposes is to encourage and uphold sound,<br />
honest practices, and to keep marketing<br />
work on a high ethical plane.<br />
HUMANITIES COMMITTEE<br />
The Humanities Committee is sponsored<br />
jointly by the College and the Student<br />
Government Association The purpose of the<br />
Committee is to introduce educational and<br />
cultural speakers, films, and programs to the<br />
student body and the community<br />
Membership is open to all members of the<br />
College
