ADMISSIONS<br />

Candidates for admission to New Hampshire<br />

College will be evaluated on an individual<br />

basis and are encouraged to apply as far in<br />

advance of their intended starting date as is<br />

practical.<br />

THERE IS NO APPLICATION FEE<br />

The Admission decision will be based on the<br />

quality of the applicant's preparation and an<br />

evaluation of his/her potential for success in<br />

the curriculum at New Hampshire College.<br />

Applications are acted upon on a rolling<br />

basis and candidates can expect to be<br />

notified of the admission decision within one<br />

month of receipt of academic credentials.<br />

Applicants who have designated New<br />

Hampshire College as their first choice<br />

institution and for whom financial assistance<br />

is a consideration may apply under the<br />

College's Early Financial Aid Option<br />

described on page 94.<br />

are available through your high school or<br />

directly from the College. Call 1-603/668-2211.<br />

High School Transcript, Test Results and<br />

Recommendations<br />

Complete the release form on the final page<br />

of the application and New Hampshire<br />

College will obtain these items for you. If you<br />

prefer, ask your high school to send them<br />

directly to us.<br />

SAT Scores<br />

New Hampshire College requires Scholastic<br />

Aptitude Test scores of all applicants. SAT<br />

scores may be reported to us along with<br />

your high school record, or directly from the<br />

College Finance Examination Board upon<br />

request by you.<br />

Personal Interview<br />

New Hampshire College strongly<br />

recommends a personal interview. Call us at<br />

1-603/668-2211 in order to make an<br />

appointment.<br />

TRANSFER ADMISSIONS<br />

Transfer students are accepted at New<br />

Hampshire College for both the semesters<br />

starting September and January in the day<br />

college, and for any of the six 8-week<br />

sessions in the Continuing Education night<br />

school division.<br />

New Hampshire College recognizes<br />

work completed at other accredited institutions<br />

and in particular encourages transfer<br />

applications from students already holding<br />

associate degrees. The College's Techni-<br />

Business major has been specifically<br />

designed to meet the needs of students<br />

having a technical/vocational preparation.<br />
