DELTA MU DELTA<br />
The New Hampshire College Honor Society<br />
is the Gamma Nu Chapter of Delta Mu Delta,<br />
a national honorary society in business<br />
administration. The purpose of the society is<br />
to promote higher scholarship in training for<br />
business and to recognize and reward<br />
scholastic achievement in business<br />
subjects. Student membership must be<br />
selected from the top twenty percent of their<br />
total class in cumulative grades. Membership<br />
is restricted to business or commerce<br />
students of good character, day or evening<br />
division, who are candidates for the<br />
Baccalaureate degree, who have completed<br />
at least one half of the work required, and<br />
who have achieved an average qualitative<br />
grade record of 3.2.<br />
PI OMEGA PI<br />
Pi Omega Pi is the national honor society for<br />
undergraduate business education. Epsilon<br />
Tau, New Hampshire College's chapter, is<br />
devoted to upgrading the profession of<br />
business education. Membership in Pi<br />
Omega Pi is limited to business teacher<br />
education students with exceptional<br />
academic records.<br />
GRADUATION WITH DISTINCTION<br />
DEGREE OF BACHELOR OF SCIENCE<br />
The degree of Bachelor of Science with<br />
certain distinctions will be conferred upon<br />
those members of the graduating class who<br />
have a minimum two years residence<br />
requirement, including completion of 63<br />
credit hours, and who have met the following<br />
standards:<br />
Students who have earned a minimum<br />
grade point average of: 3.80 Bachelor of<br />
Science summa cum laude; 3.50 Bachelor<br />
of Science magna cum laude: 3.00 Bachelor<br />
of Science cum laude.<br />
DEGREE OF ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE<br />
The degree of Associate in Science with<br />
certain distinctions will be conferred upon<br />
those members of the graduating class who<br />
have served a minimum of one year<br />
residency requirement, including completion<br />
of 33 credit hours, and who have met the<br />
following standards:<br />
Students who have earned a minimum<br />
grade point average of: 3.80 Associate in<br />
Science with highest honors: 3.50 Associate<br />
in Science with high honors: 3.00 Associate<br />
in Science with honors.<br />
GOLD KEY AWARD<br />

Students who are candidates for the<br />
Bachelor of Science degree may receive the<br />
Gold Key award, the highest academic<br />
honor that may be conferred Graduates<br />
receiving the award must have attained a<br />
cumulative grade point average of 3.50 and<br />
must be eligible for graduation with<br />
distinction.
