TECHNIBUSINESS<br />

New Hampshire College has established the<br />

Techni-Business curriculum to provide junior<br />

college and vocational-technical institute<br />

graduates who hold an associate degree in<br />

health, skilled or industrial vocational<br />

occupations and opportunity to complete the<br />

requirements for a Baccalaureate degree in<br />

business. Opportunities in a variety of career<br />

programs are available including<br />

preparation for small business management<br />

and careers in non-profit agencies.<br />

The objective of this program is to<br />

provide individuals who have earned an<br />

Associate Degree in a specialized skill other<br />

than business (e.g., small engine repair,<br />

automotive technology, electronics<br />

technology, graphic arts, culinary arts, etc.)<br />

with the necessary courses in business and<br />

liberal arts to prepare for a career in<br />

business utilizing the technical skills.<br />

Besides its range of four-year bachelor's<br />

degree majors, New Hampshire College<br />

offers two-year associate degree programs,<br />

which may be a solution for those not sure<br />

about going to college for four years. A twoyear<br />

program offers solid preparation for a<br />

job — in addition to the opportunity to<br />

continue easily on to a bachelor's degree.<br />
