DRAMA CLUB<br />
The Drama Club gives students who are<br />
interested in drama, either for viewing or<br />
participating, an opportunity to be a part of<br />
this art form. Throughout the year the club<br />
presents one-act plays, full-length productions,<br />
and musicals, sometimes in the form<br />
of dinner/theatre. Various trips are also<br />
planned to see professional productions in<br />
Boston and New York City.<br />
SKI CLUB<br />
The Ski Club was formed in 1970. It enables<br />
students to ski during the winter season at<br />
greatly reduced rates. Active members of<br />
the club receive free ski lessons, obtain<br />
discounts at ski shops, and go on special<br />
trips to ski areas, an ideal opportunity for<br />
beginners and experts.<br />
R.A.P. (RESPECT-AWARENESS-PRIDE)<br />
This organization was founded primarily by<br />
black students. One of its many goals is to<br />
have the black person play an active part in<br />
college and community life.<br />
VETERANS CLUB<br />
The Veterans Club is open to all veterans<br />
who are members of the College. The aims<br />
of the club are to help veterans ad)ust to<br />
college life, to help promote interest in the<br />
College, and to work within the Manchester<br />
community for its betterment.<br />
ARTS AND CRAFTS<br />
The College houses a multi-purpose arts and<br />
crafts facility, the Hobby Shop, which allows<br />
for the full expression of one's related<br />
artistic endeavors.<br />
WCAC RADIO STATION<br />
WCAC, the college radio station, is owned<br />
and funded by the Student Government<br />
Association. It is completely studentoperated.<br />
Its purposes are to help bridge the<br />
communication gap on campus and to<br />
provide students with a variety of music as<br />
well as reports on the news.<br />
HILLELCLUB<br />
The Hillel Club was founded to unite the<br />
Jewish students on campus, to establish<br />
relations with the surrounding community,<br />
and to provide for discussion on current<br />
problems facing the Jewish people.<br />
ORGANIZATION OF INTERNATIONAL<br />
STUDENTS (O.I.S.)<br />
This organization brings together the special<br />
needs of international exchange students<br />
within our campus community. They host<br />
numerous activities, among which are international<br />
discussion groups, parties, and<br />
food-cultural festivals.<br />
OUTING CLUB<br />
The Outing Club is one of our fastest growing<br />
organizations. They promote many trips and<br />
functions such as canoeing, mountain<br />
climbing, camping, skiing, and an entire<br />
array of nature-oriented activities.<br />
COFFEE HOUSE COMMITTEE<br />
This group, open to all students, hosts a<br />
varied series of night club-cabaret functions. 5<br />
They promote excellent music, comedy,<br />
magic, and numerous other types of entertainment<br />
in a mature, comfortable, and<br />
varied style.<br />
The College also has seventeen other multi- •<br />
interest groups open to all.
