10. Minutes of the Staffing Committee meeting held 6 th June 2013 Membership Committee Comments The Committee showed concern at the results of the staff survey and suggested that Bron Afon need to work with staff to take the feelings shown in the survey forward. The Chairs Group will explore the options of available presenters. Chairs Group 06/06/2013 Karl George presented in May. Audit committee training in September. Other options to be considered in relation to the 2013 Board appraisal (20/02) 2 27/09/2012 Performance Report It was agreed that where applicable some charts could be removed from the report for the future. It was requested that where possible data is expressed in actual numbers as opposed to percentages and to use a dashboard format. Chief Executive Report on this agenda recommending revised performance reports. Suggested charts are linked with analysis rather than separate dashboard. 26/09/2013 3 25/10/2012 Budget Guidelines It was noted that a list of projects will be kept ready to implement in order to meet budget and business plan requirements. Large projects may be split into smaller sections in order to fit the financial plan. It was requested that the board are advised of these projects. Chief Executive We will bring a report forward now that first quarter spend is clear on use of savings and projects and business plan options. Work on this is in progress and we will report to the October Board. 24/10/2013 4 28/02/2013 Board Meeting Summary Video It was noted that no video had been made following last months meeting. The Board were advised the Communications and Marketing Team were in the process of reviewing whether this was the best method and format for reporting key Board discussion points/decisions.
