SH-Series Engines<br />

For 1966-’99 Chassis<br />

Flathead Power SH-Series engines are an excellent choice to replace a tired shovelhead engine, and<br />

boost performance at the same time. Modern features such as late style hydraulic valve train, polished<br />

billet rocker covers, forged roller rocker arms and a single fire electronic ignition – combined with<br />

larger displacement – add up to a powerful and dependable engine package. Available in 93", 93"<br />

high compression, and 103" versions. High compression 93" and 103" engines come standard with<br />

dual plugged heads. Generator versions come with S&S polished billet timer and period correct flat<br />

side gearcover. Available with 1966-'69 style generator, 1970-’99 alternator, and custom alternator/<br />

generator crankcases.<br />

The dyno chart above compares the performance of the SH93, SH93H, and SH103 engines.<br />

The SH93 engine’s excellent midrange torque and great engine life makes it ideal for most<br />

applications, including touring. The SH93H makes about the same torque up to about 3500<br />

rpm, but the higher compression and more aggressive cam provides higher rpm torque and<br />

horsepower. The SH103 has more of everything, except engine life. Nothin’s for nothin’!<br />
