12 GENERAL INFORMATION FOR SECURITIES INQUIRIES TO CANADA Types of Securities include: • Stolen • Lost or Missing • Pawned or loaned • Counterfeit • Fraudulent and recovered securities such as bonds, currency, credit cards, • ID's, traveler's checks and passports. Once you have confirmed that the security is the correct security in question and the status is current and correct, it can be impounded pending specific instructions from the Canadian agency that entered the security into the CPIC system.
