Description
Navitas Workforce Solutions has established
a specialist division to offer internships and
graduate employment support services
Australia-wide to international students and
graduates. Our main focus is to develop
relationships with key market leaders to
provide the very best internships and related
services to our participants. We are committed
to developing the workplace skills of our
clients and recognise that a highly skilled and
capable workforce is critical to optimal business
performance. All of our program participants
have the opportunity to develop practical work
skills through a practical work placement. They
will participate in local work life through an
internship with Australian or multinational host
companies.
What We Offer Curtin’s Graduates
The PROFESSIONAL YEAR PROGRAM
is designed to assist international student
graduates (IT, Engineering and Accounting)
gain employment in their chosen career; as
well as give eligibility for migration points
towards permanent residence. It is a 44 week
DIAC approved program including a 12 week
internship.
NWS also offers a range of INTERNSHIPS for
international and domestic students or recent
graduates who want to discover something
new about themselves and the world of work
in Australia. Our program participants spend
8-26 weeks working in their chosen industry
alongside Australian professionals in a host
organisation. Navitas Workforce Solutions
and your host organisation will develop a
customised training plan and allocate a mentor
so you will get the most out of your internship
and professional experience.
The ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE PROGRAM
assists Engineering graduates in developing the
key skills needed to secure employment and
be effective in the workplace. After 4 weeks of
work readiness training the program concludes
with a 12 week professional internship with
participants likely to secure placements with
leading WA based organisations.

Description
The NEXT STEP Mentoring Program matches senior (final and penultimate) year students to
Curtin Alumni with the same or similar degree. Students meet their mentor approximately 4-6 time
over 6 months.
What We Offer Curtin’s Students/Graduates?
By speaking to an industry professional before graduation, students can:
• develop a greater understanding of what is expected of them when they graduate;
• gain more knowledge about employers in their field; and
• feel more confident about the job application process.
What We Seek In Curtin’s Students/Graduates?
We are seeking motivated students who are keen to learn more about graduate employment in
their field. Students need to commit to a minimum of 8 hours over 6 months to complete the
program.
How To Apply
The program runs from April until October each year. Students can apply (online) at the beginning
of the academic year. Students answer a few questions to complete the application process.
Students are matched if there is a mentor available from a relevant discipline or industry.
