What We Offer Curtin’s Graduates
Curtin Business School
• Accounting
Description
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified
Accountants) is the global body for professional
accountants. We aim to offer businessrelevant,
first-choice qualifications to people
of application, ability and ambition around
the world who seek a rewarding career in
accountancy, finance and management.
What We Offer Curtin’s Graduates
We support our 147,000 members and 424,000
students throughout their careers, providing
services through a network of 83 offices and
active centres. Our global infrastructure means
that exams and support are delivered at a local
level, directly benefiting stakeholders wherever
they are based.
What We Look For In Applications
To qualify as an ACCA member, you will need
to complete:
The ACCA Qualification should take about three
to four years to complete on average. This is
based on someone working full time, studying
part time and who registers with the minimum
entry requirements. The length of time can vary
depending on your individual situation and you
will have 10 years from the date you register to
complete the ACCA Qualification exams.
You can choose how you study, how often
you sit your exams and where you get your
relevant practical experience. But we do always
recommend you do the practical experience
along with passing your exams if possible.
Your study options include full-time courses,
part-time day or evening courses, distance
learning, weekend courses and revision
courses. You can choose from a variety of
different study options. So as well as registering
with us, you will need to make these decisions
too.
