Description
The Australian Youth Ambassadors for
Development (AYAD) Program provides skilled
young Australians the opportunity to volunteer
overseas in Asia, the Pacific and Africa. The
AYAD international volunteer program is an
Australian Government, AusAID initiative
supporting the Millennium Development Goals.
Our volunteer work is committed to achieving
sustainable development through capacity
building, skills exchange and institutional
strengthening.

Development (AYAD) Program provides skilled
young Australians the opportunity to volunteer
overseas in Asia, the Pacific and Africa.
What We Look For In Applications
If you have a passion for contributing to
development, learning and assisting others to
learn and broadening your experience through
living and working in a devoloping country, the
Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development
(AYAD) program could be for you.
The application process for the AYAD program
involves applying for ‘specific assignments’,
just as you would a job. AYAD assignments
are advertised online at http://www.ayad.com.
au and include a description of the job, the
Host Organisation and much more. The AYAD
program has three intakes each year.
