It takes agility
You’ll get up to four rotations (including one
guaranteed international placement) during
the BG Group Graduate Program. Attend
Graduate Induction (1st year) and the Graduate
Development Week (2nd year) in the UK with
graduates from other offices around the globe.

What We Look For In Applications
We are seeking graduates who want hands-on
experience, access to world-class projects and
who share our values of respect, enthusiasm,

team work. Ideally we would like to see what
extra curricular activities the students have
been involved in and any relevant industry
experience they have gained whilst studying.
How To Apply
Generally the recruitment process we follow
starts with online testing followed by a
telephone interview, a face-to-face interview,
group assessment centres around May 2012
then background checks. Offers will be made
around June 2012.
QGC is a rapidly growing explorer and producer of natural gas – a more environmentally
friendly hydrocarbon. We employ more than 3,000 people and supply 20 per cent of
Queensland’s natural gas. We’re also developing one of Australia’s biggest capital
infrastructure projects, the $15 billion Queensland Curtis LNG, to export liquefied natural gas.
From 2014 this project will produce more energy than Australia’s entire residential demand.
QGC is owned by BG Group, a global leader in the energy market with operations in more

BG Group’s International Graduate Development Program is designed to give you early
responsibility and offer you international opportunities sooner rather than later. Our 2 year
and 7 month program offers you 3 or 4 rotations, guaranteeing you at least one international
placement. With an emphasis on hands-on team work you will not only learn from world-class leaders
but work alongside them while you gain invaluable exposure to our operations. Along with being
partnered with a buddy and professional mentor your development whilst on the program
takes you out of your home base in QGC to attend training and development activities in BG
Group’s UK head office.
QGC’s Summer Vacation Program offers a 12 week paid placement in either Brisbane or
Chinchilla and is targeted at students in their penultimate year. Along with a real-world scope
of work or project to complete the program offers development lunches and a 2 day field trip.
