Tips to make the most out of the<br />

Review the list of companies attending the Careers Fair to<br />

identify employers you would like to meet with.<br />

Practice what you might say to potential employers,<br />

you should Include:<br />

• Your name.<br />

• Your degree.<br />

• When you are graduating.<br />

• Types of roles you are seeking.<br />

• Any work experience you have.<br />

Talk to the employers, don’t just collect the freebies!<br />

Develop some questions for the employers and write them on<br />

the employer profile page (for examples see the next Page).<br />

Approach the company representatives confidently and with a<br />

firm handshake.<br />

Make a note of all the important information, like closing<br />

dates, application processes and visa requirements.<br />

Collect business cards and write notes on the back to help you<br />

remember the employers you met.<br />

• What disciplines are you recruiting from?<br />

• How many graduates are you looking to recruit?<br />

• What is the recruiting process?<br />

• When are your closing dates?<br />

• Do you have a graduate program?<br />

• Do you have vacation positions?<br />

• How does your organisation value postgraduate study/specialization?<br />
