The <strong>Curtin</strong> Careers Centre services current <strong>Curtin</strong> students and <strong>Curtin</strong> alumni up to 18 months<br />
beyond graduation. Since the re-establishment of a Career Service at <strong>Curtin</strong> <strong>University</strong> in 2006,<br />
the <strong>Curtin</strong> Careers Centre has been working closely with the <strong>University</strong> Community and industry<br />
to source, develop and deliver career development programs and resources.<br />
The purpose of the <strong>Curtin</strong> Careers Centre is to:<br />
• Facilitate successful career transitions, especially study to employment and/or further study<br />
• Enhance students ability to develop lifelong skills in managing their careers<br />
• Develop positive relationships with employment and external constituencies<br />
• Work in collaboration with faculty members for the delivery of career development learning<br />
opportunities within curriculum<br />
• Promote and support Work Integrated Learning opportunities; and<br />
• Be actively involved in relevant research endeavours<br />
The <strong>Curtin</strong> Careers Centre is for all students, whether you are an undergraduate, postgraduate<br />
by research or coursework, PhD student, recent school leaver, mature age student or returning<br />
to study. Career management skills are applicable at all stages in the career building process.<br />
