John 17:21. The love of Christ, the love of our brethren, will testify to the world that we have been with Jesus and learned of Him. • The apocalyptic war as a reaction to the accomplished cleansing and restoration of the sanctuary This kind of cleansing and restoration of the sanctuary, in all this different areas that we tried to present it in this paper, would once again in history cause Satan to persecute for the last time the people of God. He is the greatest enemy of a real unity and real obedience to Gods commandment and teachings based on the word of God. So as he sees, that he cannot overcome the people of God anymore on a moral, and spiritual level, by delusions of all kinds of signs and wonders, he will try to exterminate the holy people physically. This idea we can find in the Prophecy of Hes. 36-39, where the apocalyptic war breaks out after the cleansing and restoration of Israel as a spiritual sanctuary! The same idea we also find in Joel 4. Both examples are typological for the apocalyptic war, or the gathering of Harmagedon in Rev. 16,12-16 But this last time of trouble, that the people of God will have to go through, will be the last means that God will use, to fully purify the remnant, and to prepare them for translation. Then Michael, who stands for His people, will stand up and deliver his cleansed, purified, justified, sanctified, tried, tested, and restored people in the time of greatest trouble. (Dan.12,1) This will be the last earthly consequence of the purifying of the sanctuary! This will prepare the stage for a much greater battle after the 1000 years, where finally after this second “apocalyptic war”, Satan and all how honored him by refusing to submit totally to God and his love and commandments, will be destroyed forever. “But they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness, as the stars for ever and ever.” (Dan. 12, 3) Now I want to close this study by an appeal concerning the importance to know, and to preach the truth about the sanctuary. Appeal ” Those who would share the benefits of the Saviour's mediation should permit nothing to interfere with their duty to perfect holiness in the fear of God. The precious hours, instead of being given to pleasure, to display, or to gain seeking, should be devoted to an earnest, prayerful study of the word of truth. The subject of the sanctuary and the investigative judgment should be clearly understood by the people of God. All need a knowledge for themselves of the position and work of their great High Priest. Otherwise it will be impossible for them to exercise the faith which is essential at this time or to occupy the position which God designs them to fill. Every individual has a soul to save or to lose. Each has a case pending at the bar of God. Each must meet the great Judge face to face. How important, then, that every mind contemplate often the solemn scene when the judgment shall sit and the books shall be opened, when, with Daniel, every individual must stand in his lot, at the end of the days.” ( GC 488) Conclusion This paper has given serious textual proofs from the book of Daniel that Daniel 11, 30-35 and even to v. 45, and also Dan. ch.12:4-12 can absolutely be considered as the interpretation part for Daniel 8, 11-14 about the defilement and the cleansing of the sanctuary.
