Conclusion The intention so far was, to just bring to our attention some striking similarities of some words and expressions in these three passages. These similarities cannot just be by chance so, but God, in giving this vision, must have had a certain purpose in revealing it this way. That’s why we want to see now, how these three passages relate to each other in a deeper sense. We want to look first at the real theme, and the actions, which are described. What is the main subject that we can see in these different passages? Do they really talk about the same subject, and the same events to take place in history? To answer this question we want to begin by a general comparison between the visions of the little horn, the time of the profanation, and the cleansing of the sanctuary in Daniel 7, and 8, and what we eventually can find about this time and subject in Daniel 11and 12?
