Festival of Diversity
This festival will celebrate the lives, abilities, history and culture of people with learning
disabilities in Bournemouth. The event will bring the community together to understand the
expertise, skills and talents of people with learning disabilities and will also celebrate
Bournemouth People First’s achievements.
Running from 12 – 4pm in Boscombe Chine Gardens, the festival will include exhibitions, stalls,
a raffle, arts and crafts, plant stalls, tombola, cakes and a range of workshops run by people
with learning disabilities.

Ono Saturday 11 September an English Heritage Open Day is being held at St. Clements
Church from 10am – 4pm. The Coda Fiddle will perform at 10am at this free event and
there will be s selection of live music performed throughout the day suitable for the entire
family.

Don’t miss the First Pavilion Dance performance…
In 1983, Tom illegally taped the very first ‘Now That’s What I Call Music’ LP onto a C60
cassette. 25years later he played it to Pete and they made a show about it. Britain’s
funniest dancers deconstruct this classic album to inspire new moves that shed their own
twisted light on then, the future and now.
The performance will take place at 9pm in the Ocean Room, Pavilion Dance and tickets are
