Natural Science Society museum, 39 Christchurch Road, including<br />

those not usually on show. All the Society’s experts will be at the<br />

museum to answer your questions.<br />

The weekend will include a special exhibition marking <strong>Bournemouth</strong>’s architectural heritage<br />

over 200 years, as part of Dorset Architectural Heritage Week. This exhibition runs from<br />

10.30am – 4pm.<br />

12 Sept <strong>2010</strong> British Baroque Violin Sonatas<br />

On Sunday 12 September a British Baroque Violin Sonatas performance with Jack Maguire<br />

is being held at the St. Clements Church, Boscombe at 3.30pm. David Warwick is set to<br />

accompany on the harpsichord and Denis May shall be introducing a Baroque Composers<br />

Portrait Exhibition at the Litchfield Festival. Tickets are priced at £7 per person.<br />

17 Sept <strong>2010</strong> The <strong>2010</strong> Royal Over-seas League<br />

Church Service and Luncheon<br />

On Friday 17th September The Royal Over-Seas League, whose Patron is Her Majesty the<br />

Queen, is holding a Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving at St. Peter's Church followed<br />

by a luncheon at the Marriott Highcliff Hotel. The church service is free for all members<br />

of the public, and begins at 11am, finishing at 12pm. The luncheon then will start at<br />

12.30pm at the Marroitt Highcliff Hotel, with lunch being served at 1.30pm, and tickets<br />

for the meal cost £28 per person.<br />

Special guests coming to the event will be The Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset representing Her<br />

Majesty; His Worship the Mayor of <strong>Bournemouth</strong>; Councillor Anne Filer and her husband<br />

representing <strong>Bournemouth</strong> 200; The Chairman of ROSL, Sir Anthony Figgis KCVO CMG; Vice<br />

President and Director-General of the League, together with the President of The<br />

<strong>Bournemouth</strong> Chamber of Trade and Commerce.<br />
