9 October Reader’s Day <strong>2010</strong><br />
<strong>Bournemouth</strong> Libraries present Reader’s Day; a day for everyone who loves books and reading.<br />
On Saturday October 9 th , from 9.45am til 4pm, a celebration of reading will take plase at The<br />
<strong>Bournemouth</strong> Library. This is a unique opportunity to take part in workshops, discussions, talks and<br />
meet authors in person. Authors taking part include historian and author E.T. Fox; Mario Reading,<br />
author of The Nostradamus Prophecies; Lyndsay Clarke, author of The Chymical Wedding; local<br />
historian John Walker and historical writer Rose Melikan.<br />

10 Oct <strong>2010</strong> Dorset Country Orchestra<br />
On Sunday 10 October at 3.30pm the Dorset Country Orchestra, conductor Ian Pillow, Jack<br />
Maguire, Bloch Baal Shem Suite and Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique will perform at<br />
the St. Clements Church. Tickets are £8 per person.<br />

13 Oct <strong>2010</strong> RNLI Tapas and Wine Evening<br />
The RNLI <strong>Bournemouth</strong> Guild will be hosting a ‘Tapas and Wine Evening’ on Wednesday 13 th<br />
October at the Hallmark Hotel, West Cliff from 6.30pm to 8pm. The RNLI is a charity that<br />
saves lives at sea, and the evening will include a PowerPoint presentation and talk by the<br />
lifeguard. Admission is £8.50 per person, with proceeds in aid of the lifeboat service.<br />
