From 10am – 5.30pm on 18 th and 19 th September, Thundercat<br />
powerboats will be racing off <strong>Bournemouth</strong> Beach. These will<br />
be highly maneuverable small boats racing through a number<br />
of rounds throughout the 2 days.<br />

19 Sept <strong>2010</strong> Adult Winners of B’mouth Music<br />
Festival<br />
On Sunday 19 September at 3.30pm the adult winners of <strong>Bournemouth</strong> Music Festival will<br />
perform with members of Stromenti at the St. Clements Church. Francesca Saracino, the<br />
past winner and award winning student at Birmingham Conservatoire, will sing arias from<br />
Bach Mass in B minor. The event is sponsored by Marvis Hammond and Richard Gilbert-<br />
Johnson. Tickets are priced at £6 per person.<br />
25 Sept <strong>2010</strong> Harley Davidson Static Display<br />
Saturday 25 September will see <strong>Bournemouth</strong> Pier Approach alive with a static display of<br />
Harley Davidson motorcycles, plus a live band, for the public to enjoy for free. There will<br />
be awards and prizes given out to the best bikes.<br />
The event will begin at 9am and finish at 2pm. Around 400 bikes are expected to attend<br />
so don’t miss out!<br />
25 Sept <strong>2010</strong> Streets of <strong>Bournemouth</strong> ‘Online<br />
Museum’<br />
A unique interactive ‘online museum’ to help mark <strong>Bournemouth</strong>’s<br />
Bicentenary, Streets of <strong>Bournemouth</strong> charts the historical<br />
development of <strong>Bournemouth</strong> with a collection of maps, photographs<br />
and information. Former and current residents can upload their<br />
photos, stories and memories via their own computers or through local<br />
libraries, making them available for all to view. Bill Bryson (travel<br />
writer, former resident and patron of the project) said: “The project<br />
is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the people of <strong>Bournemouth</strong> to<br />
participate in the creation of the first centralised history of the<br />
town”.<br />
