be highly maneuverable small boats racing through a number

19 Sept 2010 Adult Winners of B’mouth Music
Festival
On Sunday 19 September at 3.30pm the adult winners of Bournemouth Music Festival will
perform with members of Stromenti at the St. Clements Church. Francesca Saracino, the
past winner and award winning student at Birmingham Conservatoire, will sing arias from
Bach Mass in B minor. The event is sponsored by Marvis Hammond and Richard Gilbert-
Johnson. Tickets are priced at £6 per person.
25 Sept 2010 Harley Davidson Static Display
Saturday 25 September will see Bournemouth Pier Approach alive with a static display of
Harley Davidson motorcycles, plus a live band, for the public to enjoy for free. There will
be awards and prizes given out to the best bikes.
The event will begin at 9am and finish at 2pm. Around 400 bikes are expected to attend
so don’t miss out!
25 Sept 2010 Streets of Bournemouth ‘Online
Museum’
A unique interactive ‘online museum’ to help mark Bournemouth’s
Bicentenary, Streets of Bournemouth charts the historical
development of Bournemouth with a collection of maps, photographs
and information. Former and current residents can upload their
photos, stories and memories via their own computers or through local
libraries, making them available for all to view. Bill Bryson (travel
writer, former resident and patron of the project) said: “The project
is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the people of Bournemouth to
participate in the creation of the first centralised history of the
town”.
