ARTIC ULU BLADES
Invented by the native Alaskan people over 5000 years ago, the Alaskan
ULU (OO-loo), was used primarily to clean and skin fish. Today, people find
them very useful in the kitchen for cutting and dicing and also out in the
field. Originally the handles were made of bone, ivory or wood inscribed
with distinctive designs, but today many materials are available to use on
the handles. Use your imagination, and make several. We carry two styles
of blades to choose from. They are stainless steel, high carbon, mirror polished
blades with 6” cutting edges and oversize 3/16” holes. These blades
have been cryogenically treated to increase their edge holding ability.
COOKS FORK
Large strong tines, 3/32” thick, 10-1/2” overall, 3-3/4” fork length, with four
5/32” diameter holes for pins. Satin finished.

stainless steel with a 3/4” wide handle and 3/32” diameter holes for pins.
Highly polished and RC 56 hardness too. Looks terrific when dressed up
with Water Buffalo, Polyester Pearl or just about anything you can dream
up. Beveled on one side of the blade for easy cutting in either direction,
like a quality letter opener should. The 4” length handles fit just great.
