The following knife blades are all high carbon German made hunting
knife types that we are sure you will enjoy finishing. They are also
hidden tang type, which allows more individual latitude in fashioning
the guard, handle and pommel. Gives it your personal touch.

SUPREME SKINNER
9-1/2” overall length, 5” long blade, 5/32” thick thumb grooves, 1-1/4” wide,
hollow ground, and nicely upswept. Usually they come threaded 10/24 for

LARGE DEEP BELLY SKINNER
9-1/4” overall length, 5-1/4” long blade, 5/32” thick, 1-1/4” wide, nice clip
point on an old time shape for those big skinning jobs. False edge at top
and flat ground satin finish set this off as a good-looking skinner blade.

SMALL DEEP BELLY SKINNER
BL600 and BL601 are composed of 3 laminations of steel. The center
is razor blade hard and the outer laminations are softer and protective of
the edge bearing center. This ingenious design works to give the blade
a lasting edge with increased flexibility. The center lamination registers a
59 on the Rockwell “C” scale and therefore stays sharp for a long, long
time. It also extends through the entire blade so the edge won’t wear off
with repeated sharpening. These blades have a correctly curved section
for skinning and a straight section for slicing.
BL111is not laminated for a reason. A blade of this size (2-11/16” long)
needs to be thin to be useful. Laminating a blade this small would make it
too thick. What you have in the BL111, or what is called“The Runt”, is the
smallest blade of their line. It is razor blade hard and compact making it a
good choice for patch knives for muzzleloaders, trout knives for fisherman,
boot knives, small game knives, or wood carvers.

DROP POINT UTILITY BLADE
The “Little Swede” and the “Big Swede” are laminated carbon steel baldes
from Sweden. The blade is a three part laminate with a core of high carbon
steel protected by sides of lower carbon outer steel. The core of these
laminated blades is very hard (61-62) Rockwell C. The “Big Swede” has
a blade length of 4-1/4” and is 7/8” wide and 0.100” thick and has a 4-1/4”
long hidden tang. The “Little Swede” has a blade length of 3-3/4” and is
5/8” wide and 0.105” thick and has a 3-7/8” long hidden tang..

13-1/2” overall length and 2-1/2” maximum width. Tang is 3/16” thick and
15/16” wide, 3-1/2” long with two indentations for holes to be drilled out.
Cast iron with four ribs and very tough. Weighs 1 lb. 6 oz. Maximum thickness
through ribs is 7/16”.
