E. BOARD COMMITTEES
The Board of UBA Plc has the following committees, namely, the Board Audit Committee, the Board Risk Management Committee, the
Finance and General Purpose Committee, the Nominations and Governance Committee, the Board Credit Committee and the Statutory
Audit Committee.
Board Audit Committee
The Board Audit committee is comprised as follows:
1. Mr Adekunle Olumide, OON – Chairman
2. Mrs Foluke Abdulrazaq – Member
3. Chief Kola Jamodu, OFR – Member
4. Mr Rasheed Olaoluwa – Member
5. Mr Kennedy Uzoka – Member
6. Mrs Rose Okwechime – Member
7. Mrs Owanari Duke – Member
The Board Audit Committee was set up to further strengthen internal controls in the Group. It assists the Board of Directors in fulfilling its
audit responsibilities by ensuring that effective systems of financial and internal controls are in place within the Group.
Meetings are held at least once a quarter, with the Chief Inspector of the Bank in attendance.
