The latest statistics from Anti-
Phishing Alliance of China show
that by December 20th, 2012, the
alliance has dealt with 1,295 fishing
websites, among which travel
planning and flight booking sites
like eLong rank among the “top
three”.
To date, the “credible website”
verification by ChinaNet has been
embraced by numerous Internet
platforms including Microsoft,
Sogou, Sina, Tencent, Aliyun,
Taobao and Kingsoft Internet.
Now netizens can quickly verify
any website through search results,
browser address bar as well
as official websites. The person in
charge at ChinaNet said that with
the help of three security guards —
“search+browser+official website”,
netizens can easily verify the identity
of any website so as not to fall
into fake websites.
