ship designed and used for multidisciplinary<br />
marine science research. The ship is owned<br />
by the federal Department <strong>of</strong> Fisheries and<br />
Oceans, and is operated by DFO’s Scotia-<br />
Fundy Region. The Atlantic Geoscience<br />
Centre <strong>of</strong> the Department <strong>of</strong> Energy, Mines<br />
and Resources is a major user <strong>of</strong> this vessel.<br />
