2.3.6 Result Recall Mechanism. The following records must be maintained by the <strong>Gaming</strong><br />
Platform to facilitate the recovery of incomplete games:<br />
a) The <strong>Gaming</strong> Platform must maintain records of any game that fails to complete and<br />
the reason why the game failed to complete. This information is to be treated as vital<br />
information to be recovered by the <strong>Gaming</strong> Platform in the event of a failure.<br />
b) Information sufficient to continue a partially complete game must be retained by the -<br />
<strong>Gaming</strong> Platform. This information is to be treated as vital information to be<br />
recovered by the <strong>Gaming</strong> Platform in the event of a failure.<br />
c) Bets associated with a partially complete game that can be continued must be held in<br />
a separate register until the game completes. Player accounts must reflect any funds<br />
held in the incomplete game register.<br />
d) In the event that a game cannot be continued due to a <strong>Gaming</strong> Platform action, all<br />
bets must be returned to the players of that game.<br />
2.3.7 Data Backup. There must be a method to back up all critical data (which comprises<br />
financial, security and event information) with sufficient frequency to allow recovery in the<br />
event of an interruption.<br />
