h) The methodology employed by a player to select and play a particular game must be<br />

unambiguous.<br />

i) The <strong>Gaming</strong> Platform must clearly inform the patron player of all games available at that<br />

time.<br />

j) The player must at all times be made aware of which game has been selected for play or<br />

is being played.<br />

k) The player must not be forced to play a game just by selecting that game.<br />

l) It must not be possible to start a new game before all relevant meters have been updated<br />

on the <strong>Gaming</strong> Platform and all other relevant connections and session balance, or if<br />

applicable, player’s total funds balance, has been updated.<br />

m) A gaming device shall only initiate game play:<br />

i) After credits have been registered, and<br />

ii) After the player has nominated the number of credits to bet on that game, and<br />

iii) After the player presses a "play" button (or similar input).<br />

n) If an auto play mode is incorporated, it shall be possible to turn this mode off at any time<br />

during game play.<br />

5.4.2 Incomplete Games. The following requirements apply to incomplete games:<br />

a) A game is incomplete when the game outcome remains unresolved or the outcome cannot<br />

be properly seen by the player. Incomplete games may result from:<br />

i) Loss of communications between the <strong>Gaming</strong> Platform and the end player device;<br />

ii) A <strong>Gaming</strong> Platform restart;<br />

iii) An end player device restart;<br />

iv) A game disable by the <strong>Gaming</strong> Platform during play; or<br />

v) Abnormal termination of the gambling application on the end player device.<br />

b) The <strong>Gaming</strong> Platform must provide a mechanism for a player to complete an incomplete<br />

game.<br />

c) Upon reconnection by the player, the <strong>Gaming</strong> Platform must present the player the<br />

incomplete game for completion:<br />
