Petroleum Development Oman LLCRevision: 3.0Effective: 1 Apr 2009Accommodation for Tier 2 MER Professional immediately adjacent to the siteclinicToilet4.3 <strong>PDO</strong>, Contractors and subcontractors Clinics<strong>PDO</strong>, contractors and sub-contractors shall:maintain, update and store medical records of all employeescollect, collate and report health surveillance dataretain health surveillance records for a minimum of 30 years from the date ofemployment<strong>Medical</strong> records of all individuals, including specific details of all medical <strong>examinations</strong>,shall remain confidential.A clinic shall be provided by a contractor who has a camp or base in the Interior that:accommodates an average of 100 or more people per month (or part thereof, ifthe duration of the Contract is less than one month), andis more than 10 kilometres from the PAC.A clinic shall be provided by the contractor for an average of less than 100 people permonth if:the contractor's work is classed as posing a high risk on the basis of Health Riskassessmentthe contractor's camp or base is remote (a distance of 20 minutes or more byroad) or more than 10 kilometres from the nearest clinic.Two or more contractors in adjacent camps shall be permitted to share a clinicproviding the clinic has adequate staff and resources to cope with the additionalworkforce and subject to prior approval from their Contract Holders.Page 16 SP-1230 : Specification for <strong>Medical</strong> Examination, Treatment & Facilities Printed 25-Sep-08The controlled version of this CMF Document resides online in Livelink®.
