Those at higher risk(>20% 10 year) require further cardiological review.Form Q1 A cardiovascular screening tool is provided online atCardiovascular Risk Calculatorhttp://hp2010.nhlbihin.net/atpiii/calculator.asp?usertype=pubPhysical examination.Blood pressure.Lipid profile if not completed within previous 2 years or if change inmedication, diet or lifestyle.Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) and stress testing are not requiredunless employee falls into high-risk category (see below) or thereis a clinical indication.Once every two yearsAny individual in the high-risk group who is employed in one of theabove occupations following specialist review, should be reviewedannually by the reviewing Shell or contract physician.Following % based on 10-year risk of myocardial infarction orCardiovascular death.< 10% low risk no action.10-20% medium risk counsel on lifestyle and refer to PrimaryHealth Care Provider if appropriate.
