Corporate NamesInclude qualifiers in the reference if appropriate to the form of the reference. Qualifier(s) maybe inappropriate in the heading and/or reference. For example, do not add a qualifier to areference consisting solely of an initialism. Simple 5XX "See Also" Cross-referencesPersonal NamesA. When a contemporary author uses one or more pseudonyms, create name authorityrecords for each name and link them with 500 "see also" references. Generally, LCpractice prefers simple, individual "see also" references when only two names areinvolved, but explanatory references are required when there are three or more names(See LCRI 22.2B and LCRI 26.2D).Examples:100 1 $a Lasky, Kathryn500 1 $a Knight, Kathryn Lasky100 1 $a Knight, Kathryn Lasky500 1 $a Lasky, KathrynB. For personal names only, when the entire form in the reference and the entire form in anestablished heading are the same, attempt to resolve the conflict by additions to the namein the reference (See LCRI 22.17-22.20). If there are no data available to resolve theconflict, trace the variant as a 5XX reference rather than a 4XX reference. This applieswhether the cross-reference already exists on an NAR or is being added to an NAR (SeeLCRI 26.2C).Example:100 1 $a Jones, A. When the name of a performing or artistic group contains the name of one or more of itsmembers, make a "see also" reference from the heading for each person to the headingfor the group and from that group heading to the heading for each individual.
