April 2011HOSTS FIRE AWAY INCLAY PIGEON SHOOTTHE annual Inter-Provincial clay pigeonshoot for the Watson-Eden Trophy wasstaged by the Province of Yorkshire, Northand East Riding in October 2010 atThimbleby Gun Club – and it was awinning occasion for the hosts!Teams from the Provinces of WestLancashire, Westmoreland andCumberland, Yorkshire, North and EastRiding and Yorkshire, West Riding tookpart. There was a good turn out of gunsfrom our province on what was a very wetday!At a lunch and prize presentation at TheHaynes Arms, Kirby Sigston, the winners,captained by W Bro Mark Roberts, ofAcklam Lodge No 6248, Middlesbrough,received their prizes. Yorkshire, WestRiding came a creditable second.
