With DBSCHENKERprivpak the consignee can choosewhere the delivery is to be made.General terms and conditions applicable to deliveries toprivate persons.Input, registration and booking: A transport agreementwith agreement prerequisites must be signed.DB <strong>Schenker</strong> must receive an EDI file from the consignorcontaining all the necessary details.If EDI is not received by DB <strong>Schenker</strong> in conjunction withregistration at the terminal, further processing isdiscontinued until correct EDI is received.Use a TA system approved by us. This ensures that the EDIand transport document requirements are satisfied.TA system providers: There are functional differencesbetween the TA systems recommended by DB <strong>Schenker</strong>.For specific information about each TA system, contactthe TA provider or DB <strong>Schenker</strong>'s local EDI representatives.See www.dbschenker.com/se under certified TA providers.Parcel Service Points are mainly located where people liveor work. Parcels are collected by the consignee at oneof the approximately 1,600 DB <strong>Schenker</strong> Privpak parcelService Points. The service offers flexibility regarding whenand where the parcel can be collected. It could be from theparcel Service Point near your place of work or perhaps theone near your house in the country – you decide. Theservice is ideal for e-business/mail-order customers wheresimplicity in handing returns and COD is an obviouselement.There could be local deviations. For sparsely populatedlocations the distance is greater to the nearest parcelService Point. A list of parcel Service Points can be foundat www.schenkerprivpak.se >parcel service points.Notification: Notification takes place by text message,e-mail, letter or telephone. The choice of notificationmethod could differ from one service to another. Forfurther information see the respective service on thefollowing pages.Collection: Parcels are collected according to a fixedcollection arrangement or by booking at the nearestDB <strong>Schenker</strong> office. For bookings made after 12.00 parcelsare collected the following delivery day. Where less thanfive consignments are collected on the same occasion acollection charge is payable (unless other DB <strong>Schenker</strong>goods are to be collected at the same time).*Timetable: The timetable contains the locations/postcodeareas we serve as well as current transport times in Sweden.The timetable is available on our websitewww.dbschenker.com/seDistribution: Distribution takes place through theDB SCHENKERprivpak network, comprising some 1,600parcel Service Points. Parcel Service Points are mainlysmall stores and filling stations. When you register, your TAsystem suggests the nearest Service Point although you arefree to choose from all Service Points in the country. Ournetwork of Service Points can be seen on our websitewww.schenkerprivpak.se >parcel service points.DB <strong>Schenker</strong> Privpak Terminal also works in the same way asabove – the terminal closest to the consignee is the one shown.City surcharge: From January 1, 2013, there will be a citysurcharge for consignments to Gothenburg and Stockholm.Return flow: By using a prepaid return label the consigneecan return a parcel to the consignor by handing the parcelin at any parcel Collection Point (applies only to CollectionPoint deliveries) or by purchasing a return label, which canbe purchased at the majority of our Collection Points. Thecost is shown in the agreed price list.The return flow leaves the parcel Collection Points on eachday stated in the timetable although with extra lead timefor handling returned parcels.Supplementary conditions: All goods must be packed sothat they can withstand normal machine sorting. Fragilegoods, liquids and paint should be packed in packaging approvedby Förpackningskonsult* and marked with a special"Fragile goods" label. Vessels containing liquids must alsobe embedded in an appropriate absorbent material.The following goods may not be transported asDB SCHENKERprivpak: Dangerous goods (not even inlimited amounts), weapons and ammunition, valuables,alcohol, tobacco products, live plants, live or deadanimals, heated transport, refrigerated and frozen goods.Exceptions, see section 1.4 in the Terms and Conditions ofTransport brochure.Security: Before a parcel is handed over the consigneemust confirm his/her identity. In the case of notificationby text message the consignee quotes the PIN code statedin the notification. A parcel can be handed over to a personother than the consignee stated in the address if the personcollecting can produce the consignee's identification ortheir own identification.* Does not apply to the Collection Point – Economy andPrivate Package services.15
