DB SCHENKERprivpakTo workDB SCHENKERprivpak – To work is a simple means for a consignee/orderer to have a parcel deliveredto their workplace.The consignee is notified by text message or by e-mail andcan then collect the parcel at the reception desk/incominggoods reception point. The consignee/orderer must ensurethat the employer approves this method of delivery forprivate parcels to the workplace before placing the order.DB <strong>Schenker</strong>'s liability ceases once delivery has been madeto the address provided.Weight: Maximum weight 30 kg per parcel and a maximumof 99 kg per consignment.Volume: The maximum volume per consignment is 0.36 m 3(1 m 3 = 280 kg).Standard: Maximum length/parcel: 1.4 m.Length + circumference must not be more than 1.85 m.Bulky:Maximum length/parcel: 2.0 m.Length + circumference must not be more than 3 m.For parcels/consignments which exceed the abovemaximum dimensions and weight limits, a surcharge ispayable (see page 21).Multi-parcel consignments: The possibility of minimisingthe cost when several parcels are destined for the sameconsignee on the same day. If any parcel in the consignmentis bulky, the whole of the consignment is priced as bulky.The minimum freight-based weight is 20 kg.Freight calculation: Pricing for Zone 1.Input data: A transport agreement with agreementprerequisites must be signed. See page 15.Timetable: The timetable includes the locations andpostcode areas we serve as well as current transport timesin Sweden. The timetable is available on our websitewww.dbschenker.com/seDelivery: Delivery to the stated address takes placeaccording to the timetable. The consignee must beavailable during normal working hours 07.00–17.00.If not, the following alternatives apply:1. The parcel can be collected at the DB <strong>Schenker</strong> terminalfollowing prior agreement.2. The parcel can be delivered as agreed subject to anextra charge.NSAB 2000 and Terms and Conditions of Transport:All transport is performed according to DB <strong>Schenker</strong>'s Termsand Conditions of Transport and the General Conditions forTransport, Forwarding and Warehousing of the NordicAssociation of Freight Forwarders (NSAB 2000).In the case of domestic parcel consignments, DB <strong>Schenker</strong>assumes expanded liability for damage or loss up to aconfirmed goods value, although subject to a limit ofSEK 50,000 per delivery from one or several consignorsto one and the same consignee on one and the sameoccasion.COD amounts and the bank giro number should be writtenin the relevant box on the transport document/STL labeland marked COD.paySCHENKER: Make use of our secure card paymentsystem and pay via our website www.dbschenker.com/se> paySCHENKERExtra goods insurance: In the case of high-value goods,extra goods insurance ought to be taken out throughDB <strong>Schenker</strong>.
