We offer a globalparcel network providing simple, secure transport for you and your customers.The specific conditions that apply to DB SCHENKERparcelWorld are shown below.Weight: Single parcel maximum 30 kg.Single consignment maximum 99 kg.Volume: The maximum dimensions per parcel are:Length 2 m. Length + circumference 3 m.Volume limit per consignment 0.4 m 3 (1 m 3 = 280 kg).Multi-parcel consignments: The possibility of minimisingthe cost when several parcels are destined for the sameconsignee on the same day. The minimum freightcalculation weight is 20 kg. Unlimited number of parcelsper consignment.Freight calculation: Zone pricing is applied both for singleparcels and multi-parcel consignments.Timetable: The timetable shows the countries in which weoperate around the world (see table on pages 10–11). Fordistribution of larger consignments and to countries otherthan those listed in the timetable, contact the DB <strong>Schenker</strong>Air & Ocean Division.Distribution: The transport times stated in the Zonedivision on pages 10–11, apply from Swedish postcodeareas 10000–61999 and 63000–79999. From otherpostcode areas, there is one (1) extra transport day.Exceptions: It is not possible to transport to countriessubject to an embargo or other international trade barrier.Updated information regarding unlisted countries isavailable from your local DB <strong>Schenker</strong> office.Terms and Conditions of Transport: The WarsawConvention applies to international parcel consignmentsoutside Europe (for a definition of DB SCHENKERparcelEurope, see next page). In the event of damaged or lostparcels, the maximum compensation payable under theWarsaw Convention for goods affected is 19 SDR/kg(approximately SEK 190/kg).Extra goods insurance: If the value of the consignmentexceeds the compensation level according to the WarsawConvention, it is recommended that extra goods insurancebe taken out through DB <strong>Schenker</strong> in conjunction withbooking.Service restrictions: The highest permitted value perparcel is USD 50,000 or the equivalent amount in localcurrency. The highest permitted value or declared valueper parcel for watches and jewellery (with the exceptionof trinkets 1 ) is USD 500 or the equivalent amount in localcurrency.COD – Cash On Delivery is not available. If there is deliveryinformation about COD on the parcel note or transportdocument this is not regarded as an instruction to collectCOD amounts in those cases where the consignee is outsideSweden.Customs clearance: Routine customs clearance is carriedout at no extra charge. Official stipulations lay down thespecific documentary requirements that the consignor mustfollow for international consignments and which mustcontain the following information:– Details of the consignor and consignee– Goods description and value– Country of origin– Information regarding customs and VAT liability at thedestinationPrivate persons: A consignment to a private person is onlypossible if a separate agreement has been signed.Import package: Booking of an import package, withpayment of freight in Sweden, is only possible if a separateagreement has been signed.Fuel and currency surcharges are payable and adjusted onan ongoing basis each month.
