The consignee's daytime telephone number must be given. If this information ismissing, the consignee is notified by letter. A charge is made for notification even when the consignor hasprovided incomplete delivery details. Extra delivery time is required for consignments that are to be notified.Following agreement, and on payment of an extra charge, a text message can be sent as notification of animpending delivery on condition that the consigning customer has issued advance notification of this via EDI.CODThe COD amount and the bank giro number should be written in the relevant box on the transportdocument/STL label. All parcels in the consignment must be marked COD. Extra delivery time maybe necessary as COD consignments are notified. The notification charge is included in the price.Top10/ExpressDelivery to your customer before 10.00 on the first working day after collection. Express delivery only takesplace if all parcels in the consignment are marked Top10/Express. Locations that can be reached by Expressare marked in the timetable on our website www.dbschenker.com/se. Prices are shown in the price list on theprevious page.Extra goods insuranceIn the case of high-value goods, extra goods insurance ought to be taken out through DB Schenker.This is ordered when booking transport.Consignee freight/Other freight-payerThis service is available when there is an EDI connection to DB Schenker. For price details see underOptions on page 13. Not possible for COD or international parcels.PODIf a copy of a receipt for the transport document/STL label or proof of delivery is required a chargeis payable for each consignment. Receipts can be produced free of charge via mySCHENKER.SUPPLEMENTARYSERVICES ANDCHARGESDESCRIPTIONEDICustomers not connected via EDI are subject to a charge for each consignment.Extra distributionWhen delivery was not possible because the consignee was not available.Invoice chargeFor customers with freight credit.Incomplete orincorrect transportinstructionsDocuments not approved by DB Schenker: when amending incorrect transport documents in the event ofincomplete delivery information and EDI information that was incorrect or not sent.Collection chargeIf there are fewer than five (5) consignments to be collected on the same occasion, there is a collectioncharge (unless collected at the same time as DB SCHENKERsystem Domestic).Location surchargeA location surcharge is payable for certain locations.City surchargeFrom January 1, 2013, there will be a city surcharge for consignments to Gothenburg and Stockholm.Uncollected parcelsIf a consignment remains uncollected for more than three (3) days following notification, therewill be a daily storage charge from day four (4).Amended disposalApplies when the consignor amends the transport instructions after the freight process has started.Exceeded productconditionsA charge is made for additional handling of consignments/parcels that exceed the maximum weight,length and/or circumference or parcels that cannot be sorted mechanically.5
