•Sigma Alpha Tota was founded at the University of Michiganin 1904· The Sigma Zeta Chapter of Idaho was installed in 1924.Sigma Alpha Iota is the oldest national honorary fraternitydevoted strictly to music. The purpose of the fraternity is topromote the interests of its members and the advancement ofmusic in America and in the University.
