Five hypotheses1. Axiology (whanaungatanga) is important – the highest value lies inthe interpersonal relationships. Interaction with and understandingof the social environment is important2. Pedagogy (ako) is important, inspirational teachers make the mostprofound difference5. Idealogy (tūmanako) is important as it expedites attitudinal shifts –essential, as not much can occur within a state of „cultural lag‟
