10000 SERIESPORTER COUNTY LOCAL PROBLEM SOLVINGCOURT RULESLR64-AR00-10000 PROBLEM SOLVING COURTS10000.10 All Porter County “problem solving courts” shall be established pursuant toIC 33-23-16-11. A “problem solving court” is defined as it is at IC 33-23-16-8. Prior to beingestablished as a problem solving court, a court will provide notice <strong>of</strong> intent to establish itself tothe <strong>Indiana</strong> Judicial Center in accordance with IC 33-23-16-19(a). The court will submit aPetition for approval to the <strong>Indiana</strong> Judicial Center in accordance with the <strong>Rule</strong>s adopted by theBoard as required by 33-23-16-19(b).10000.20 Problem Solving Court FeesA problem solving court may require an eligible individual to pay a problem solvingcourt administrator fee <strong>of</strong> not more than one hundred dollars ($100) per admission to a problemsolving court for initial problem solving court services regardless <strong>of</strong> the length <strong>of</strong> participationin the problem solving court.LR64-AR00-10100 ADULT DRUG COURT PROGRAM10100.10 Establishment. The Porter County Adult Drug Court Program is establishedpursuant to IC 33-23-16-11(1). The objectives <strong>of</strong> the Porter County Adult Drug Court Programshall be in accordance with the definition <strong>of</strong> a “drug court” as stated at IC 33-23-16-5.10100.20 Fees. In accordance with the <strong>Rule</strong>s adopted by the Board under IC 33-23-16-23(c), those persons directed to participate in the Porter County Adult Drug Court Programshall pay a Problem-Solving Court services fee according to a schedule <strong>of</strong> fifty dollars ($50)per month for the duration <strong>of</strong> their Program participation. The Clerk <strong>of</strong> the Court shall collectand transmit the program fee within thirty (30) days after the fees are collected, for deposit bythe auditor or fiscal <strong>of</strong>ficer in the appropriate user fee fund established under IC 33-37-8.Pursuant to 33-23-16-23(e) court services fees must be used only to fund problem solving courtservices. 10100.30 Assignment. The day-to-day operation and management <strong>of</strong> the PorterCounty Adult Drug Court Program has been established in and assigned to Porter CountySuperior Court # 3. The Adult Drug Court Program shall be reviewed by the Porter CountySuperior Court judges when necessary and upon review and agreement by all the judges, theAdult Drug Court Program may be established in additional courts as needed, subject toapproval in accordance with IC 33-23-16-19.81
