ZNSPACEZNSPACESets the current namespace.ZNSPACE:pc nspaceZN:pc nspaceArgumentspcnspaceOptional — A postconditional expression.A string expression that evaluates to the name of an existing namespace.DescriptionZNSPACE nspace changes the current namespace to the nspace value. If nspace does notexist, <strong>Caché</strong> generates a error.nspace can be an explicit namespace or an implied namespace.<strong>Caché</strong> maintains the name of the current namespace in the $ZNSPACE special variable.You can change the current namespace by using the ZNSPACE command, the $ZUTIL(5)function, the %CD utility, or by setting the $ZNSPACE special variable. Use of ZNSPACEor %CD is preferable, because these provide more extensive error checking.You can determine the current namespace from the $ZNSPACE special variable or the$ZUTIL(5) function. You can determine whether an explicit namespace is defined on yoursystem using the $ZUTIL(90,10) function.On UNIX and OpenVMS systems, you can set the system-wide default namespace using the$ZUTIL(90,4) function. Calling this function has no effect on Windows systems.
