System and Other FunctionsDirectory LocationIf you specify a flag value of 3, and specify a system file number for the dir argument,$ZUTIL(49,dir,3) returns the remote system number and the directory pathname. The returnedstring separates these two parts with a caret (^):sys^dirListedItemsysdirDescriptionThe remote system number where the specified sfn is located. If zero (0),this indicates the directory is located on the local system.The pathname of the file that corresponds to the specified sfn.If the specified system file number refers to a non-existent file, this form of $ZUTIL(49)returns -2.
