In a few cases, the $ZUTIL(69) function provides a means to change the system-wide defaultvalue. These defaults can also be configured using various System Management Portal SystemConfiguration Advanced Settings. In these cases, the $ZUTIL(69) function changes theconfiguration setting for the current instance of <strong>Caché</strong>, and this change persists when <strong>Caché</strong>is stopped and restarted.The permanence of changes made using a $ZUTIL(69) function is described for each individual$ZUTIL(69) function.Many of the $ZUTIL(69) flags can be set on a per-process basis by using the corresponding$ZUTIL(68) subfunction.The following table shows the $ZUTIL(69) subfunctions recognized by <strong>Caché</strong>.
