<strong>S3.15</strong> Assembly and Maintenance GuideE. Feed the cable over the lower 3½-inch pulleylocated in the Press Arm assembly. Attach thepulley to the Press Arm assembly usingone 2-inch zinc hex head bolttwo zinc flat washersone zinc locknutF. Feed the cable over the upper 3½-inch pulleylocated in the Main Upright. Attach the pulley to theMain Upright usingone 4-inch hex head bolttwo 1¹⁄₄-inch shoulder spacersone locknutG. Pull the slack out of the Main Cable so the ball endof the cable rests against the Lat Bar Holder.H. Disassemble the upper pulley in the DoubleFloating Pulley as shown. Feed the cable aroundthe 3½-inch pulley and reattach it usingone 2-inch zinc hex head bolttwo zinc flat washersone zinc locknutJ. Feed the cable through the hole in the UpperFrame Crosspiece and over the two 3½-inchpulleys attached to the Top Beam assembly.Reattach the pulleys to the assembly usingtwo 2-inch hex head boltsfour flat washerstwo locknutsK. Feed the cable down through the hole in the UpperFrame Crosspiece and attach the threaded end ofthe cable into the Selector Stem. Continue turningthe screw three to four full turns to secure thethreads inside the Selector Stem.L. Wrench tighten all pulley fasteners.Important: Do not tighten the jam nut on thethreaded end of the cable or the Double FloatingPulley fasteners, at this time.Step 6. Install Main Cable, continued1 - 2" zinc bolt2 - zinc washers1 - zinc locknutEDouble Floating PulleyAssembly1 - 2" zinc bolt2 - zinc washers1 - zinc locknutFH1 2 3 4 5 6KJ2 - bolts4 - washers2 - locknutsGPull slack and place theexcess cable on the floorwhile you assemble theDouble Floating Pulley.page 18

Start at the center pulley on the Main Upright.Feed the threaded end of Ab Cable 130196through the opening and over one 3½-inch pulley.Attach the pulley to the Main Upright usingone 4-inch hex head bolttwo flat washersone locknutB. Disassemble the 3½-inch pulley located inside theSingle Floating Pulley. Feed the cable around thepulley and reattach the pulley usingone 1¹⁄₂-inch zinc hex head bolttwo zinc washersone thin zinc locknutWrench tighten.C. Disassemble the lower portion of the DoubleFloating Pulley. Feed the cable around the lowerpulley and reattach it usingone 2-inch zinc hex head bolttwo zinc flat washersone zinc locknutD. Attach the threaded end of the cable to a SingleFloating Pulley. Continue turning the screw three tofour full turns to secure it inside the floating pulleyhousing.F.
