These KPIs en<strong>com</strong>pass all the key performancefactors which are crucial in determining the success ofeach branch such as profitability, loan and depositgrowth, asset quality, service delivery as well as staffproductivity and efficiency. These KPIs form the basis forappraising and rewarding branch managers and otherkey management and supervisory staff at branches.<strong>Public</strong> <strong>Bank</strong>’s ApproachThe KPIs are reviewed annually to align the KPIs to thecurrent operating environment and business goals of<strong>Public</strong> <strong>Bank</strong>. The <strong>Bank</strong> closely monitors the branches toensure that the KPIs are achieved. The performance ofeach branch and its ranking among its peer group ofbranches is disseminated to all branches to enable themto benchmark themselves with their peer group ofbranches and to take the necessary remedial actions toimprove their performance.
