Effective Date: October 24, 2007(A)(B)(C)(D)Existing facilities demonstrating compliance with amilligrams per ampere-hour emission limitation specified inTable 93102.4.Facilities that undergo a modification afterOctober 24, 2007.New hexavalent chromium facilities complying with section93102.4(d)(2) or section 93102.6(b)(1)(A) or (C).Facilities that submit an alternative compliance method ormethods <strong>for</strong> approval as provided in section 93102.4(b)(3).(2) New or modified facilities must conduct the per<strong>for</strong>mance testrequired by this section 93102.7 no later than 60 days afterinitial start-up.(3) Existing facilities must conduct the per<strong>for</strong>mance test requiredby this section 93102.7 no later than the applicable effectivedate contained in Table 93102.4.(4) The per<strong>for</strong>mance test must be conducted using one of theapproved test methods specified in subsection 93102.7(c).The hexavalent chromium emission rate shall be multiplied bythe facility annual permitted ampere-hour usage to determinethe annual emissions of hexavalent chromium <strong>for</strong> the facility.(5) Facilities do not need to conduct a per<strong>for</strong>mance test if thefacility’s annual permitted ampere-hour usage is ≤20,000 <strong>and</strong>the facility is located within 330 feet of a sensitive receptor orthe facility’s annual permitted ampere-hour usage is ≤50,000<strong>and</strong> the facility is located more than 330 feet from a sensitivereceptor that exists on October 24, 2007, <strong>and</strong> the facility isusing chemical fume suppressants.(6) Trivalent chromium plating facilities meeting the mg/dscmemission rate specified in section 93102.6(a)(1) must conducta per<strong>for</strong>mance test to demonstrate compliance with the totalchromium emission rate.(b)Use of previously conducted per<strong>for</strong>mance test.A per<strong>for</strong>mance test conducted after January 1, 2000 may be usedto satisfy the requirements of this section 93102.7, so long as all ofthe following criteria are met:24
