A woman had to be a virgin; orshe could be killed: “ But if this thing be true, that the tokens ofvirginity were not found in the damsel; then they shall bringout the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the menof her city shall stone her with stones that she die. . . ”(Deuteronomy 22: 20-21). The regime of fear was establishedthrough threat of death; and the regime of fear created sexroles, called nature. Laws mandating gender-specific dress asGod’s will, gender-specific virginity, vagina-specific fucking,the legitimacy of the fuck dependent on producing a child,shaped the nature of intercourse as well as the natures of menand women.
