The type test is implemented at the factory withthe manufacturer specify<strong>in</strong>g the mach<strong>in</strong>e types (or type series)the tests are valid for (please refer to table 7-6).Test after assembly (chapter 7.6.2)Periodic <strong>in</strong>spection on site(chapter 7.6.3)Extraord<strong>in</strong>ary <strong>in</strong>spection(chapter 7.6.4)Systematic test equal to type test, but with on-site resources. The amount of <strong>in</strong>vestigation on site can be reduced, <strong>in</strong>cases a type test at the manufacturer’s site (7.6.1) was done forthe washer <strong>in</strong> advance.Random <strong>in</strong>spection, recommended on a yearly basis (pleaserefer to table 7.7).Inspection on site after process-<strong>in</strong>terfer<strong>in</strong>g repairs, programchanges, changes <strong>in</strong> process chemicals or <strong>in</strong> items for process<strong>in</strong>g.The AK KAB recommends to select exclusively type tested washers only, <strong>in</strong> order to avoid the purchase ofnone suitable washers.
