The Master Plan demonstrates the intended <strong>improvements</strong> for each segment of the Reach<br />
and how they can be accomplished. The following is a general description of the segment:<br />
1. U. S. HIGHWAY 281 TO MULBERRY STREET<br />
• Channel to remain as exists<br />
• Catalpa-Pershing creek to be restored using fluvial<br />
geomorphology principles<br />
(for the Avenue B option only – more information<br />
found in the Hike and Bike Pathways Appendix)<br />
• Pathway to extend to Avenue B and follow the<br />
restored Catalpa-Pershing creek<br />
(three other optional alignments to also be<br />
evaulated – more information found in the Hike<br />
and Bike Pathways Appendix)
