PCBS: Palestinian Family Survey, 2010Place of DeliveryIncreasing the proportion of births that are delivered in health facilities is an important factor in reducing the healthrisks to both the mother and the baby. Proper medical attention and hygienic conditions during delivery can reducethe risks of complications and infection that can cause morbidity and mortality to either the mother or the baby.
