The participation of youth in economic activities in the West Bank reachedaround 74 percent compared to around 26 percent in Gaza Strip. Results show that most males from the 15-19 agecategory (around 97 percent) participate in the labour force compared to around 3 percent of females from the sameage category. The percentage of female participation increases to reach 13 percent and 17 percent for the 20-24 yearsand 25-29 years respectively.146
